Southern California based Parkaimoon was founded by Tony Howell (guitar) and Damon Tucker (bass) in the mid-1990's. Kari Melissa (vocals) joined the band in early 2002. Tucker later met and worked with Kenny Hale (guitar, piano, producer) and Dave Goode (drums) while performing in the U2 tribute band One. In 2007, Hale and Goode completed the bands line-up for it's latest release The Sum of Our Experience. Parkaimoon's music is heavily influenced by the likes of Pink Floyd, U2, Led Zeppelin, and Radiohead. The band spent a year and a half in the studio creating a record that was meant to stand the test of time. Special attention was directed at the creation of "ear candy" in the recording process and mixing. The record tends to evoke a Pink Floyd-like listening experience of surround and subliminal sounds.
