Logitech Inaugural Alto Awards Ceremony
Recognising the outstanding achievements of its Channel Partners
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — July 4, 2008 —Logitech, world leader in personal peripherals, hosted its Inaugural 2008 Alto Awards of Excellence Ceremony this week to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the Best in Industry supporting the Logitech brand. Over 50 Logitech resellers and trade partners attended the prestigious evening held at multi-award winning restaurant, Aria, Circular Quay. Celebrity Chef and Aria co-owner Matt Moran made a special appearance and handed out signed copies of his latest book.
The 2008 Logitech Alto Awards recognise Logitech’s customers and partners for unique trade initiatives throughout the year. The annual Awards recognise innovative partners who are driving value for their business using Logitech leading solutions and in turn, driving Logitech sales in Australia.
Presenting the Awards was General Manager of Logitech Australia and New Zealand, George Saad, he said: “The Alto Awards provides the perfect opportunity to showcase and acknowledge the efforts of businesses and individuals who consistently support our brand and form a part of the Logitech family. As key contributors to Logitech’s success we wanted to take the time to formally recognise our trade partners and what they have achieved over the last year.

Fittingly named the Alto Awards - alto meaning high in Latin, the event was deemed a tremendous success by all in attendance. Guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés on the restaurant terrace overlooking Sydney Harbour. They were then moved into the private dining room where they were addressed by celebrity chef, Matt Moran, who designed a unique menu especially for the occasion.
Vice President Sales and Marketing, Logitech Asia Pacific, Martin Geh also addressed the guests highlighting the strong performance of the Australian Logitech team and the continuing growth of the company.About Logitech
