Catherine Valentine, Vice President, Legal, General Counsel and Secretary

Catherine Valentine is Logitech’s General Counsel, Secretary of the Board of Directors, and Vice President responsible for the company’s worldwide in-house legal staff and outside legal counsel. She leads the company’s efforts in corporate regulatory compliance, litigation, technology licensing, contracts and negotiation, corporate law and governance, intellectual property rights, mergers and acquisitions, business agreements, anti-piracy and public policy.

Ms. Valentine joined Logitech in 2003 after more than 25 years in the field of corporate law. Prior to joining Logitech, she was the General Counsel and Secretary for Good Technology. Previously, Ms. Valentine was the General Counsel for Intuit, Inc., from 1994 to 2002, serving as the Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary beginning in 2000. Prior to joining Intuit, Ms. Valentine served as General Counsel for innovative Silicon Valley companies such as Macromedia, Go Corporation and Autodesk. She began her career as an attorney in the telecommunications industry.

Catherine Valentine holds a B.A. degree in finance and economics form the University of Illinois and a J.D. degree from the University of Chicago.
