Ultimate Ears recently partnered with INDISTR, a business dedicated to empowering independent musicians. INDISTR places all of the control, creativity, and financial gain back into the artists' hands by allowing them to sell their own music online. Every month, the Artists to Watch program highlights a new INDISTR artist – this month we are honored to feature new independent music from Joshua Wentz.

Besides for creating hypnotic music, Joshua has formed Sidedown Audio, a boutique music label that curates work from solo home-recording artists and pairs it with quality handmade design. The result is a limited edition hard copy album with screen printed cover art. Sidedown Audio will release between four and six full-length albums per year, each in a limited edition of 500-1000. The best music deserves unique design and analog existence.

In this digital world, Joshua has found a way to merge art with technology to create physical “records” of times and places – musical artifacts.
