We don’t feature enough classical music on our Artists to Watch program. So May will now officially be our new Classical Month! And to kick this off – we have music from the critically acclaimed Cypress String Quartet and from chart topping crossover violinist Jenny Oaks Baker. Their musical styles are quite different and showcase the full range and variation found in classical music – which really is much wider than the catch-all “classical” genre allows for.

Jenny Oaks Baker is one of the first classical musicians to go on in-ears. Her touring schedule and situation have made it quite difficult for her to hear everything that is going on yet at the same time, she absolutely needs to still hear and feel the vibrato of her instrument. She will be using our newest UE Reference monitors with the ambient ports open on the left ear.

And just to keep in the same spirit of our program to date – we also have a classic indie pop group – the new album from Peter Bjorn and John. Amazing. Simply amazing.
