We are pleased to feature new music from Cloud Cult and dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip this New Year. And while their sounds are totally different, their message is not. Music is expression of feelings regardless the outcome. Music is a form of art - not a commercial formula.

Both these bands have found commercial success without creating commercial music. They are true testaments to the notion of following your passion and gut and forging new roads into the unknown. And I think this is a good metaphor for the New Year. For 2009 certainly had its fair share of hardships and forced many of us to try new things and be more creative than ever. So here is my New Years toast to all of you: "May your endeavors move forward slowly and steadily bringing you all that you need in a richly fulfilling way!"

And with that, Happy New Year! May this year be full of new music and new sounds! Last year will be a hard year to top sonically speaking but we will continue to scour the globe to bring you music worth having in your collection.
