This month, we are honored to showcase new music from the legendary Dave Holland right along side music from Christina Perri – a brand new name in music. New meets old and established crosses paths with buzz and hype.

Dave Holland’s new album, Hands, is a masterpiece played with Flamenco heavyweight Pepe Habichuela. It captures the essence and soul of Flamenco and gypsy sounds and it lets all the musicians shine through. No one is overpowered and somehow the limelight falls on all the players. This album will certainly win a Grammy next year – there is no doubt in my mind!

Now compare this album and Dave’s history to Christina Perri – the new sensation in music buzz. Dave cut his teeth with Miles and Christina caught her lucky break when one of her songs appeared on So You Think You Can Dance. She then became an Internet sensation and quickly landed a record deal. Different times. Different eras. Different tactics. But at the end – it is all about the music and the craft and that is what shines through!
