Minjae Lee was born in South Korea, in 1989. When he was 17 years old, he met someone in his class who drew cartoons. It looked like fun to do. So he started drawing people and was hooked."I have loved color since I was 7 years old. And I still get my inspiration from every color, every beautiful object and color.I also love abstract images and forms I usually make a portrait work, with those inspiration. And I really focus on realism when I make a piece. I think realism should have more than what you can see. cause there's a feeling, a emotion, the environment exist in real. It looks like a bit surrealism when you see the outcome of my work. but I try to make a piece with realism as the base but have beyond what you can see".
