Logitech Connection Utility

This standalone version of the Logitech Connection Utility program is for use on Windows systems and is not available for Mac. It can be used to reconnect supported keyboards or mice with a replacement receiver or when the connection is lost.

NOTE: A version of this program is already included with Logitech Mouse and Keyboard software (SetPoint) for Windows and Logitech Control Center (LCC) for Mac. If SetPoint is already installed on your computer, there is no need to download this program.

Supported Operating Systems:

NOTE: For reconnecting the MX Revolution, please refer to the MX Revolution Product Support Page. For all other products, please proceed to the section below.

To reconnect your keyboard or mouse to its receiver:

  1. Launch the Connection Utility:
    • Without SetPoint installed (Windows only):
      Download, save and run the Connection Utility.
    • With SetPoint 4.8 or below installed (Windows only):
      Click Start > Run > type "C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPoint\Connect.exe" and press Enter.
    • With SetPoint 6.0 or 6.15:
      Click Start > Run > type "C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPointP\Connect.exe" and press Enter.
    • With SetPoint 6.20 or above:
      Click Start > Run > type "C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPointP\ConnectUtility.exe" and press Enter.
  2. Follow the onscreen instructions to reconnect your keyboard or mouse.

If your keyboard or mouse fails to connect:

  1. Verify the keyboard or mouse is powered on.
  2. Verify the battery power level and replace the batteries if needed.
  3. Try using a different USB port for the receiver.
  4. Do not use a USB hub or KVM switch and always plug the receiver directly into your computer.
  5. Try moving the keyboard or mouse closer to the receiver.
