What to know before you contact Customer Support:

  • Product Name
  • Model Number (M/N)This is normally a nine or  ten digit number
  • Part Number (P/N) - This is typically in the format M-RBU126 , V-UMB46, Y-UV90, R-IG7, etc.
  • PID number (PID) or Serial Number (S/N) this can be up to 11 characters long
    The exact location of this information varies by product but can typically be found:
    • On the bottom or rear of the product
    • Underneath the battery cover or underneath the batteries
    • Behind the foam ear cushion
    • Attached to the USB cable 
  • The Operating System the device is running on (Windows XP, Windows Vista,  Mac OS X, etc.)
