1. ELIGIBILITY. The promotion (“Promotion”) is open to people 18 years of age or older (as of the date of entry) residing in the 50 United States (excluding any jurisdiction where participation would be unlawful). Employees and immediate family members of employees of Logitech Inc., its affiliates, and its subsidiaries (“Logitech”) are not eligible. .

2. PROMOTION PERIOD. The promotion begins on the first day of a calendar month and continues through the end of the last day of the same calendar month (i.e., January 1 through January 31, February 1 through February 29, March 1 through March 31 and so forth; and each calendar month marks an individual “Promotion Period”). Video submissions will be accepted the last calendar day of each month until 11:59pm Pacific Time.

3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE.

Registration: To participate in the Promotion, go to http://www.logitech.com/en-us/alert/digital-security-videos?WT.ac=ps|7285|busted_videos to register. Upon registering with your full name and email address, you will be sent an email that includes an email address where you can send your story and/or video. Your email submission, your story and/or video will be judged in the calendar month or Promotional Period it was received.

Tell-A-Friend Feature or Friends & Family Story: If you have any friends or family members that do not currently use digital video security for the home or office, you may send them an email to submit a story about “why they need a video security system” or “how it would give them peace of mind.” Your friend or family member will need to register with their full name and email address in order to be sent an email address where they can submit their story. Of course, this story will be judged in the month of the Promotional Period that it is received.

Requirements for any and all video and/or story submissions (“submission(s)”):

Video Submissions: Video submissions must be submitted in .mp4, .avi, .mov, or .wmv format and the maximum file size is 10 megabytes for each video submission.

Ideally, video submissions will be made with a Logitech® Alert video security cameras or Logitech WiLife cameras. We realize that many of you may have a master camera system with multiple cameras, so please submit as many videos, and stories as you want during each Promotional Period. Examples of story and video themes for your submission include: captured criminal activity, deterred neighborhood crime, peace of mind, influenced neighbors, teenagers and their car, office antics, pet or animal stories, or even captured natural phenomena.

Friends & Family Story Submissions: Story submissions must be delivered via the e-mail address provided through the Registration process previously described. Stories may be included in the body of the e-mail or be written out and sent in a .txt, .doc, or .docx format. There are no limitations in regards to word count. However, the desired length of the story submitted should clearly, convincingly, and precisely explain why a video security system is needed or how it can or will give peace of mind. Video or digital image evidence of criminal activity or other antics is not required.

License Grant: You retain all of your ownership rights in your submissions, however, with each submission of story and/or video to this Promotion, you grant Logitech and its affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, fully-paid, sub-licenseable and transferable license to use, adapt, modify, publish, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, and perform your story and/or video submissions, in whole or in part, in connection with this Promotion and in connection with the marketing, advertising and promotion of any and all Logitech digital video security products and/or other Logitech products that work with, or are compatible with digital video security cameras. Logitech may also use your story and/or video to promote and/or redistribute part or all in connection with (i) retail marketing efforts including trade show booths, catalogs, mailers, point of purchase or other store displays; and (ii) e-commerce efforts including the Logitech website (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels, including but not limited to Amazon.com and Logitech channels via social media websites such as YouTube.

Additional Requirements: Your story and/or video must be original. Furthermore, you agree not to: (i) submit any portion of your story and/or video that is copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to post the material and to grant Logitech all of the license rights granted herein; (ii) submit a story and/or or video that contains false information or misrepresentations that could damage Logitech or any third party; (iii) submit any portion of your story and/or video that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate any law, or is otherwise inappropriate, as deemed by Logitech in its sole discretion; (iv) submit advertisements or solicitations of business; and (v) impersonate another person. Logitech does not endorse any submission or any opinion, recommendation, or advice expressed therein, and Logitech expressly disclaims any and all liability in connection with such submission.

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS. All stories and/or videos will be reviewed and winners will be selected by the Logitech Marketing Professionals judges (the “Judges”). The Judges will pick one monthly winner (“Monthly Winner”) and two monthly runner-ups (each, a “Monthly Runner-up Winner”) from the BUSTED! Video submissions for each month during the Promotional Period. The Judges will also select one monthly winner from the Tell-A-Friend submissions received. Each winner will be contacted via email, and each winner’s name and story and/or video, in whole or in part, may be posted on the Logitech Video Security website on or about the 15th of the following month. Prizes for each Promotional Period are limited to one per household.

5. PRIZES. The Monthly Winner and two Monthly Runner-up Winners of the BUSTED! Video and one monthly winner from the Tell-A-Friend submissions received will each be awarded one product of his or her choice from the following Logitech Alert products:

No cash equivalent or alternative individual prize will be awarded; provided however, that Logitech reserves the right to, without any prior notice and at any time, replace any or all the Logitech product with similar products or the latest release of a product in the same category. Prize may not be resold for profit. All incidental expenses shall be the responsibility of each of the winners above. Federal, state and local taxes are the responsibility of all prize winners. Prizes will be delivered to the winners. Return of any prize as undeliverable will result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner. All prizes will be awarded.

6. BINDING EFFECT. By participating in this promotion you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. All federal, state and local laws apply.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION. Logitech’s decisions are final on all matters related to this promotion. Logitech and its service providers are not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, delayed or garbled registrations or entries, incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, including but not limited to technical malfunctions, human or technical error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of: any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Only the fully completed online submission will be accepted as a valid registration or an entry. All registrations submitted become property of Logitech. Logitech reserves the right, without prior notice, to terminate this promotion, in whole or in part, or modify this promotion in any way, and for any reason, including, without limitation, if Logitech determines, in its sole discretion, that fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Logitech's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the promotion. Logitech reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the promotion process or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the promotion is a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Logitech reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Logitech's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. By participating in this promotion, the entrants release and agree to hold harmless Logitech, its affiliates, dealers, subsidiaries, their service agencies and independent contractors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to acceptance, possession or use (or misuse), or failure to use any matters arising out of or relating to this promotion or any prize.

8. PERSONAL INFORMATION. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize shall constitute the winner’s consent and agreement that Logitech may use the name, address, likeness, story and/or video (in whole or in part) and prize information, of each winning entrant for promotional or advertising purposes in any and all media, now known or hereafter created, in perpetuity anywhere in the world, without further payment or consideration of any kind and the winner will sign and return any publicity release requested by Sponsor.

9. SPONSOR. This promotion is sponsored by Logitech Inc., with offices at 7600 Gateway Blvd., Newark, California, 94560, USA.

10. LIST OF WINNERS. Winner name, story and/or video may be posted, however, you may also receive a list of winners by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Logitech Alert BUSTED! Video, Contest Administrator at Logitech Alert Team, 7600 Gateway Blvd., Newark, California, 94560 Residents of Vermont may omit return postage.

11. DISPUTES. Entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this promotion, other than the administration of the promotion, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by a court having competent jurisdiction located in Alameda County, California, U.S.A.; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this promotion but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will registrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and registrant hereby waives all rights to, claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Logitech in connection with the promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
