This virtual, two-week Zoom classroom introduces girls and non-binary individuals from across the U.S. to coding basics while participating in classrooms with Logitech employees and partners. SIP\u2019s project-driven curriculum focused on game design, where students were challenged to design their own game using the skills they learned.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With a shared goal of closing the gender gap in tech, Logitech continues to inspire future female and non-binary coders through partner-led sessions during SIP. This year, Logitech hosted five sessions featuring our diverse and global employees as well as partners from AbleGamers, GLAAD and the Women Who Master program:<\/span><b><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Finding &amp; Getting an Internship<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with a focus on LinkedIn and resume best practices and interview tips and tricks.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Meet the Masters: A Chat with our STEM Trailblazers<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">featured three Women Who Master partners \u2013 Nikita Washington, Lavanya Jawaharlal and Danielle Boyer \u2013 who shared their emotional and inspirational stories navigating the \u201czigs and zags\u201d as women in STEM. <\/span><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_29866\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-29866\" style=\"width: 371px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-29866\" src=\"https:\/\/www.logitech.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Screenshot-2023-06-23-at-12.17.53-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"371\" height=\"216\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.logitech.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Screenshot-2023-06-23-at-12.17.53-PM.png 1440w, https:\/\/www.logitech.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Screenshot-2023-06-23-at-12.17.53-PM-300x175.png 300w, https:\/\/www.logitech.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Screenshot-2023-06-23-at-12.17.53-PM-1024x596.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.logitech.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Screenshot-2023-06-23-at-12.17.53-PM-768x447.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 371px) 100vw, 371px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-29866\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Logitech&#8217;s Women Who Master partners share their stories with the our Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program class.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Representation in Gaming<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">included partners from AbleGamers and GLAAD discussing how to move representation forward within gaming for a more inclusive and welcoming industry.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Unlocking Career Opportunities in the Gaming Industry<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was a conversation with four Logitech G employees showcasing the diverse opportunities and paths toward gaming careers.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Cybersecurity &amp; Privacy<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was an insightful discussion about potential online harms and how to best protect yourself and your data online. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SIP concluded with a partner-led graduation where students presented their final projects \u2013 an impressive library of games varying from collection, maze, and choose your own adventure (CYOA) styles.
