One year ago, we officially launched our foray into cloud gaming by releasing the <\/span>Logitech G CLOUD Gaming Handheld<\/span><\/a>, a purpose-built gaming device for cloud gaming. The goal was to build a device that was perfectly optimized for cloud gaming, delivering a powerful feature set and a seamless connection to cloud gaming service providers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the last 12 months since launch, we\u2019ve continued to provide the most enjoyable gaming experience, and we\u2019re committed to continuing to innovate in the cloud gaming space by providing OTA updates and expanded features that makes the G CLOUD an even better experience since its original launch. We\u2019re particularly excited to see how Cloud gaming is gaining in momentum and market adoption, and how it is transforming the way that we play by opening access to an always increasing portfolio of the world\u2019s top games powered by the most high-performing cloud technology available.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are extremely excited to announce that we have continuously added new features over the last year, the latest being support for video out over USB-C. This means that users can now mirror their G CLOUD Gaming Handheld on almost every TV, monitor or screen through a USB-C to HDMI cable, allowing them to play on larger screens; and the addition of virtual button mapping, which allows players to play Android mobile games even without native controller support.<\/span><\/p>\n

Secondly, we are delivering an improved and more personalized gaming experience by enabling stick, trigger and deadzone customization\u2014a function that our community had been requesting for a while.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thirdly, we now have official support for Shadow Cloud and PC computing. Released earlier this year, Shadow can let you use your G CLOUD Gaming Handheld as a fully virtualized PC for work or gameplay\u2014all from the cloud. A complete Windows PC in just one click which lets you share your work, tailor your gameplay and easily manage your configurations all in one place.<\/span><\/p>\n

Looking ahead, we\u2019re very excited to see Cloud gaming grow in scale and in experience and to continue providing gamers with the G CLOUD handheld which provides the most enjoyable Cloud gaming experience yet.<\/span><\/p>\n
