On a crisp winter afternoon in San Francisco, passersby watched as Venazir Martinez (<\/span>@venazir_<\/span><\/a>), street muralist and visual anthropreneur, transformed a blank canvas into a living mural outside the <\/span>Logitech Experience Store<\/span><\/a>. The live painting was part of <\/span>Winter Walk<\/span><\/a>, a holiday celebration in the iconic Union Square that brought people together to connect, create, and interact with the community.<\/span><\/p>\n

This moment wasn\u2019t just another live painting, it was a continuation of Venazir\u2019s lifelong connection to art, technology, and Logitech. That connection began in her childhood in the Philippines. Her uncle in the United States would send care packages, and each one included a Logitech product.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Venazir noted: \u201cIt started with a mouse, headset, keyboard. I have this nostalgic relationship with Logitech, and who knew I would be collaborating with them now.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Red Thread: Connection Through Stories<\/b><\/p>\n

Venazir\u2019s art centers on a unifying motif: a red thread that connects people, culture, and history. She began using it in 2017 as a way to tell the stories of her community, comparing it to a puzzle. Wherever the red thread goes, it leads you to the story.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One interactive element from her Winter Walk activation demonstrated this metaphor. Guests at the Logitech Experience Store were able to solve a puzzle revealing two concepts created by Venazir. The most solved puzzle would be the piece she painted throughout the weekend.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Integrating Art and Technology<\/b><\/p>\n

As her projects became bigger, she moved away from paper concepts and relied on technology to quicken her workflow. For Venazir, the intersection of art and technology was transformative to her creative process.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTechnology is like my buddy. Definitely I couldn\u2019t live without it, it\u2019s like an extension of me,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

As she transitioned from paper to digital tools, Logitech products became essential companions. Working with the MX Anywhere 2S for years gave her precision, but upgrading to the MX Master 4 this year elevated her experience entirely.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI was immediately blown away by the haptics. It\u2019s like you are <\/span>in <\/span><\/i>the work,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s multisensory and I relate it to painting outdoors, being aware of external factors like noise and people talking to you, but digitally.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cIlluminated Thread\u201d at Winter Walk<\/b><\/p>\n

It symbolizes the invisible thread of growth that weaves through Venazir\u2019s life, from her early years in the Philippines to this past weekend at Winter Walk.
