Stanford\u2019s <\/span>TreeHacks 2026<\/span><\/a>, the largest collegiate hackathon in the U.S., was a weekend of rapid innovation. Over 1,000 students, selected from more than 15,000 applicants, spent 36 hours turning bold ideas into real projects related to AI, healthcare, sustainability, education, and more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a sponsor, Logitech spent the weekend connecting with the builders of tomorrow who inspire us to design tools that extend their coding potential. During the opening ceremony, we shared how our MX Series helps coders maximize productivity so they can spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time hacking, coding, and creating.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While we weren\u2019t part of the coding tracks, we did host a \u201cYou\u2019ve Got Options\u201d workshop on Saturday to a standing room only audience who learned how our <\/span>Logi Options+<\/span><\/a> software and <\/span>Actions Ring<\/span><\/a> overlay can simplify workflows and save you up to 33% of time. A live demo during the typing-speed challenge showed how with the <\/span>MX Master 4<\/span><\/a> and Actions Ring you could achieve 468 words per minute \u2013 more than five times faster than the average for skilled professionals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Workshop attendees then created their own actions to improve efficiency in Terminal, a tool for writing code and scripts. They found ways to save time on tasks like running commands and navigating file systems, which is crucial during a hackathon where every minute counts. To support their journeys beyond TreeHacks, we hosted a giveaway and sent participants home with MX Master 4 mice and <\/span>MX Keys S<\/span><\/a> keyboards.<\/span><\/p>\n
