At Logitech MX, our mission is to empower creators, developers and builders with tools that unlock their full potential, but real innovation requires equal representation. Globally, women occupy under 28% of STEM roles, according to UNESCO and the World Economic Forum. To actively bridge this gap, Logitech launched a company-wide initiative, mobilizing teams across Leadership, Software, People & Culture, Communications and our India operations, partnering with Aspire For Her under our #WomenWhoMaster initiative, to host the largest all-women Generative AI hackathon. The event officially earned a <\/span>GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS<\/b>\u2122 title for “Largest Women-Only Generative AI Hackathon (Multiple Venues)” with 1,712 participants to the 2nd round, a brand-new award category created specifically to recognize female inclusion in emerging technology.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Designed to offer hands-on skilling and real career pathways, the initiative mobilized nearly 100,000 women across 5,107 cities and 15,729 colleges. Over 60% of applicants came from smaller towns, rural areas and regions outside traditional tech hubs, proving that talent and ambition in AI are everywhere. From online assessments to simultaneous regional events across eight cities, the project resulted in 112 finalists gathering at Logitech\u2019s Chennai HQ to\u00a0 receive guidance from industry experts, pitch their final solutions and explore career opportunities in tech.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This all-women\u2019s hackathon offers a clear model for how companies and schools can work together to unlock hidden talent worldwide.
