2019
1.5°C Climate Pledge
We committed to the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C by 2050. Because it’s work that cannot wait, we are now committed to achieving our reduction targets 20 years earlier by 2030.

2020
Carbon Labeling
We became the first consumer electronics company to place detailed carbon impact labels on our products, with a commitment to do this across our entire portfolio.

2021
Carbon Neutrality
We’re neutralizing our carbon footprint across all our products and operations - the full value chain (Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions). We design for sustainability to prioritize carbon reductions while using renewable energy and investing in high-quality, certified projects to offset and address our residual carbon impact.

2030
Net Zero
To achieve Net Zero by 2030, we will continue to evolve our activities to reduce our carbon further, and by 1/2 of our baseline emissions. We will achieve 100% renewable electricity across our operations and supply chains and will remove any residual carbon through carbon removal projects.

2030+
Climate Positive
We’ll keep going beyond Net Zero, reducing further and removing even more carbon than we create to become climate positive. While that’s a critical turning point for us, we’ll need to encourage others to reach it too. A challenge of this scale needs everyone to pull together.

We are committed to making the UN Global Compact part of our strategy, culture, and day-to-day activities and to engage in collaborative projects which advance the broader development goals of the United Nations, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals.
OUR COMMITMENT TO THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
In the face of ever-growing environmental and societal challenges we recognize the need to collaborate with others and unleash the full force of our collective experience and capacity for innovation. Aligning our existing sustainability programs with the Sustainable Development Goals is the obvious next step, and a transformational commitment to the next phase of our sustainability journey. In each section of our Sustainability Report we highlight the SDGs that are core focus areas.
Our Commitment to a Code of Conduct
We joined the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) in 2007 to collaborate with peers and competitors alike to address the challenges that people and the environment face in our industry. Collaboration across our sector is needed to effectively drive change and transition to a more sustainable world. Commitment to the RBA Code of Conduct is fundamental to how we do business. It drives our business strategy and informs our decision-making. It is reflected in our internal policy framework, standards, audit processes and supplier contracts. It provides a foundation for sustainability management and helps us take precautions, look beyond our legal obligations and continually improve performance.
