Where and how we work is changing in real-time. Hybrid meetings are now the new norm: a mix of co-located and dispersed employees needing to quickly and easily connect and collaborate. And they need IT’s help to do so.

To meet this need, Radisson Hotel Group has launched Hybrid Meetings, powered by Logitech video conferencing solutions. The partnership provides event planners with access to high-quality virtual solutions that support the increasing demand for hybrid business gatherings. Radisson Hotel Group's Corporate director of operations, EMEA, Patrick Apostolo, shares their experience.

Responding to change with innovation and technology

“As one of the world’s largest hotel groups, growing our meetings and events is a priority for us,” says Patrick. “The new working landscape has accelerated the need for a hybrid meeting offering for our customers – and is why we believe that innovation and technology is absolutely vital to achieve our growth ambitions.

Specifically, we wanted a video technology solution we could adopt as a standard across the EMEA region. With a shared vision for the incredible potential of hybrid meetings, we decided to partner up with Logitech for the quality, reliability and ease of use we were looking for.”

Optimizing hybrid meetings with room solutions

“Powered by Logitech, we launched Hybrid Meetings by Radisson Meetings. We selected two products: MeetUp for our smaller rooms and Rally for studio-quality 4K Ultra-HD video for larger spaces.

We’ve found these plug-and-play ConferenceCam solutions to be extremely versatile and extremely easy to connect. No matter what operating system you’re using, no matter what device you bring with you…with only a couple of clicks, you’re connected.” says Patrick.

Area director, meeting and events northern Europe, Johanna Wessman Fresnel adds, “Both products also offer outstanding quality and reliability, possessing high standards of visual and sound experiences that really enhance the face-to-face collaboration our users are aiming for.”

“Our customers are delighted with the hybrid meeting capabilities we now offer,” says Patrick. “Looking at how the market is developing, the partnership with Logitech will be key to our ongoing success in the hybrid working space.”

Getting results from hybrid meeting technology

Radisson Hotel Group has standardized Logitech MeetUp and Rally as its ConferenceCam solutions of choice throughout Europe. Meeting room reservation requests are growing and an increasing number of properties are equipping additional rooms.

The plug-and-play simplicity of Logitech ConferenceCams is also making Radisson’s IT team notably happy due to the scarcity of IT support requests.

The hybrid working environment is expanding. To help your business meet the demand, it’s essential to provide your teams with the right communication and collaboration tools in the right locations.
