Join Us for International Women’s Day and Share Your Passion

At Logitech, we strive to create an organization that is inclusive and diverse. That’s one of the reasons we take time throughout the year to focus on people of all types, and why we celebrate International Women’s Day.

Last year, our gaming team hosted a 24-hour charity stream to raise money for charity: water. This year, we’ve built on that effort to create a week of streams that invites streamers and employees from across the company to share their passion. As the saying goes, you can’t be what you can’t see, and creating opportunities like this helps raise the visibility of women in the community .

The streams, which will air the week of March 2, will raise funds for charity: water. charity:water’s aim is to bring clean and safe drinking water to developing countries improving health, education and opportunity. This is especially important for women and children, who spend a disproportionate amount of their time up to 40 billion hours a year, walking to collect clean water. Freeing up the time they’d typically spend finding water, allows them to pursue their education and economic opportunities they would otherwise go without, which benefits their entire community.

All of the streams will be shared on Logitech G’s Twitch Page and on Facebook and Twitter pages across the company. People will be able to donate money to charity:water during the live stream, and Logitech will match the first $20,000 donated.

Every donation makes a difference. A $40 donation will bring clean water to one person, $10,000 will bring clean water to a community. And if we hit our $40,000 goal, we’ll be able to bring clean water to 4 communities.
