Logitech Takes Over SXSW 2026

Work looked different at SXSW. Logitech made sure of it.

Every March, the eyes of the tech, film, and music worlds converge on Austin, Texas, for South by Southwest (SXSW). It is more than just a conference; it’s a cultural phenomenon where the future is written in real-time. From legendary keynotes—like Steven Spielberg’s address this year—to the indie spirit of the “weird” Austin streets, SXSW is the ultimate proving ground for brands that want to be at the heart of the conversation.

This year, Logitech didn’t just attend SXSW 2026; we wove ourselves into the very fabric of the festival. By solving the real-world problems of modern professional and tech enthusiasts, paired with a healthy dose of the unexpected, Logitech showed up and showed out.

Logi Work Lounge: A Sanctuary for the Pros

If you’ve ever been to SXSW, you know the struggle: your phone is at 4%, the WiFi is elusive, you need to hop on a video call, and you have a deadline in twenty minutes. Because work doesn’t stop just because you’re at SXSW, we took over the rooftop at Upstairs at Caroline’s and transformed it into the Logi Work Lounge.

Featuring a fleet of 8 enterprise-grade personal workstations, a dedicated podcast studio, and a headset photo wall, the lounge became one of the hottest tickets in town. With eager guests lined up around the block, the lounge became the place everyone wanted to be—an essential hub for VIPs where access was as coveted as the experience inside. The workstations, decked out with mice, keyboards, headsets, webcams, and monitors, were fully functional. People plugged in their laptops with a simple USB cable and kept their workday moving-–this time in an airy, sunny “open workspace” on the corner of Congress St. and 7th— margarita in hand.

Journalists from the Austin American-Statesman, Entertainment Weekly, LA Times, Spectrum News, and the official SXSW media crew used our space to file stories, charge up, and hold informal meetings. After covering the Spielberg keynote, reporters from the Statesman used the lounge as their backdrop to interview attendees for Instagram reels.

Scavenger Hunt

Throughout the city, miniature mice, keyboards, and headsets were lurking in planters, trees, hotel lobbies, and hallways. Lucky people who discovered the trinkets redeemed them for the real versions of each!

Unscripted Podcast: Live from the ATX

Unscripted Podcast host Nathan Coutinho filmed interviews with media and industry influencers Craig Durr, Adam Hyman, Leila Lewis, Melinda Cuilty, Matthew Loys Duncan, Tim Albright, Christopher Neto, Sara Lynn Loucks, Kyle Spiess, Kimberly Storin, and Gary Kayye.

The Mevo-camera powered studio captured insightful discussion topics ranging from the future of work and AI, PR in tech, evolution of the home studio, AV and broadcast, impact on modern culture on work, VR’s Future in Education, Innovation in Microsoft Teams Rooms, and Gen Z and how they approach work.

Keep an eye on the Logitech for Business YouTube channel for these episodes to air in the coming months.

Mega Mouse, Mega Impact

Two blocks down, nestled among the iconic Austin food trucks, the Logi Work on Wheels showcase took the brand on the road. Parked next to the mobile product showcase trailer was the Mega Mouse: a larger-than-life reconstruction of the new flagship MX Master 4.

To highlight that the MX Master 4 can save you 33% of time (that’s 19.8 seconds of every minute!), we challenged visitors to a timer game: stop the clock at exactly 19.8 seconds to win a free mouse. The crowd stayed electric, with cheers erupting every time a winner hit the mark.

At the same time, the community signed and tagged the mouse, eventually covering every inch of it with signatures and sketches–many expressing their love for Logitech–turning the Mega Mouse into a collaborative piece of street art.

Deskinations: Productivity Without Borders

SXSW is famous for its whimsical, creative energy, and our Deskinations understood the assignment. You really can work anywhere with Logitech, a concept we pushed to the limits.

We outfitted Pedal Pubs, food trucks, and even a swan boat on Lady Bird Lake with full Logitech setups. We saw a reporter from Rolling Stone catching a ride on the Pedal Pub and a Mashable writer filing from the water on a Swan Boat.

Creators like Angelica Song, Johnny Hochstetler, and Rachel Lately captured the magic through real-time Instagram Stories and post-event Reels.

Work is a Vibe

As the dust settles on Austin streets and the 300,000 SXSW attendees boarded their flights home, one thing is clear: the future of work isn’t a destination—it’s a mindset. Whether it was taking a weekly status meeting from a rooftop bar or tagging a giant MX Master 4 in the Texas sun, Logitech proved at SXSW 2026 that productivity can be communal, mobile, and even a little bit “weird.” We didn’t just show you our latest gear; we invited you to help us redefine where the office ends and inspiration begins. Until next year, Austin—keep the coffee hot, the Margaritas cold, and your workstations ready for anything.
