In primary classrooms, students are increasingly expected to explain their thinking, solve problems visually, and communicate learning through digital platforms. However, many young learners face challenges when using touchscreen devices to effectively write, draw, type, and record their ideas.

During Spring 2026, Mrs. Meshak's third grade classroom at New Holstein Elementary participated in an 8-week study to understand how purpose-built learning tools impact student engagement, focus, and expression within Seesaw, a leading educational technology platform for students.

The results were remarkable: 100% of students said listening activities were easy to hear, 90% reported Logitech tools helped them explain their ideas, and 86% reported being focused while using the tools.
