Overview

Telenet is the largest provider of cable broadband in Belgium along with TV and telephony services. The organization supports a hybrid work model, which enables its 3000+ employees to collaborate any time from both home and office.

Meeting rooms are typically fully booked at Telenet, so it’s essential to be able to start and run video meetings smoothly, reliably and on an efficient schedule. For this reason, Telenet prioritized user friendliness as a primary requirement when they were looking to standardize on a company-wide video collaboration solution.

With plug-and-play simplicity that lets users launch and run meetings from their own devices, Logitech MeetUp proved to be exactly the right fit.

MeetUp delivers Ultra HD 4K video, superb sound, an all-in-one design that minimizes cable clutter and—most important for Telenet—MeetUp simply works right out of the box.

Challenge

Telenet offices are busy environments where meeting rooms are typically booked back-to-back. To keep things running smoothly and on schedule, Telenet employees require video collaboration capabilities that are reliably easy to use and provide pro-quality video and sound.

“We have tried out a few options in recent years,” said Ellen Van Damme, Project Coordinator at Telenet. “Dell Technologies and Logitech were the most user friendly. The plug-and-play functionality is what appeals.”

Solution

Logitech MeetUp offered Telenet exactly the solution they were looking for. “We have chosen MeetUp firstly for user friendliness,” said project coordinator Ellen Van Damme, “and secondly because of the ‘look,’ very compact and beautiful design.”

MeetUp is Logitech’s premium all-in-one Ultra 4K conferencecam with advanced audio and a super-wide 120° diagonal field of view. Most important for Telenet, MeetUp is USB plug-and-play and simply works right out of the box.

Results

With MeetUp, Telenet employees can launch and control video meetings from their own PCs so they know exactly how to get down to business efficiently. Telenet uses Microsoft Teams for internal collaboration, but MeetUp also performs seamlessly with partners or customers who work on other platforms.

Whether in a Telenet meeting room, at home or any other location, MeetUp consistently delivers outstanding meeting experiences for Telenet teams and their collaborators wherever work happens.
