Two weeks ago, Logitech joined educators, IT leaders, and partners from across the country for the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) conference. Between time on the show floor, sessions with partners, and an evening spent with customers, it was a good reminder of how much thought and energy is going into classrooms right now, and how many people are working to support it.
On the Show Floor
The booth brought together solutions spanning presenting, content creation, and everyday student devices, with two new launches drawing particular attention. Attendees got hands-on with the new Spotlight 2 advanced presenter, built to keep presenters confident and audiences engaged through subtle haptic feedback and digital highlighting effects that work in both in-person and virtual settings. Right alongside it was the new Rugged Combo 4c Touch keyboard case, with a large, high-precision trackpad and the durability to hold up to drops, spills, and everyday backpack life. Educators also stopped to explore the Zone Learn headset, Logitech Reach, and Logitech Scribe, each built for a different part of the classroom experience. The Mevo camera, paired with Yeti microphones, drew a crowd of its own. Podcasting is showing up more and more in K-12 classrooms as a way for students to produce and share their own work, and educators stopping by were eager to talk through how to bring that kind of hands-on content creation into their own classrooms.
Designing Connected Classrooms for Active Learning
Madeleine Mortimore, Global Education Innovation & Research Lead at Logitech, joined Jonathan del Rosario, Head of Product for Samsung Electronics America’s Display Division, for a session on designing connected classrooms for active learning. The conversation centered on a challenge educators know well: with so many responsibilities inside the classroom, the tools that help most are the ones that reduce friction and boost student interaction. Madeleine and Jonathan talked through what that looks like in practice, from helping students participate and collaborate more independently to rethinking what classroom engagement means beyond a raised hand.
A Closer Look at What’s New at the Leadership Exchange
On Sunday, Rachel Cancel, Public Sector Account Manager at Logitech, took the stage at the ISTE Leadership Exchange to spotlight the Rugged Combo 4c and 4c Touch and Spotlight 2 for the room. Both products carry forward the same idea Logitech builds every education tool around: technology should be simple, durable, and shaped by real classroom conditions, not just the product lab. The session closed with a giveaway, and a few lucky attendees found a Spotlight 2 waiting under their chair.
Time with the Community
Some of the best conversations happened outside the sessions, too. Logitech hosted a customer welcome reception at Kavas, where guests connected with the Logitech team over dinner and got a first look at the Spotlight 2, with a few lucky guests taking a Spotlight 2 home. Logitech was also visible throughout the week at partner booths.
ISTE 2026 was a reminder of how much energy educators are bringing to their classrooms, and how much thought is going into giving students new ways to engage, create, and learn.
