Question 1

What is the difference between the MK950 and the MK955 bundles?

Accepted Answer

The only difference is the physical size of the included mouse. Both bundles feature the exact same Signature Slim K950 keyboard, but the MK950 combo includes the standard Signature Plus M750 mouse (ideal for small-to-medium hands). The MK955 combo includes the larger Signature Plus M750 L mouse (scaled up for medium-to-large hands).

Question 2

Are the keyboard and mouse pre-paired out of the box?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you use the included Logi Bolt USB receiver, both the keyboard and the mouse are paired to that single receiver right at the factory. You only need to plug the single USB dongle into your computer, pull the battery tabs, and both devices will connect instantly.

Question 3

Can the combo switch between a personal PC and a work Mac simultaneously?

Accepted Answer

Yes, seamlessly. Both components feature Logitech's Easy-Switch technology, allowing you to pair the bundle with up to three separate devices over Bluetooth or the Logi Bolt receiver

Question 4

Does this combo support Logitech Flow?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you install the Logi Options+ software on multiple computers on the same network, you can take advantage of Logitech Flow. Moving your mouse cursor past the edge of one monitor to a second computer screen will cause the keyboard's typing focus to automatically follow the mouse, allowing you to copy and paste files or text across entirely different operating systems (like Windows to macOS).

Question 5

Are the devices rechargeable via USB-C?

Accepted Answer

No, neither device is rechargeable. There are no charging ports. Instead, they run entirely on standard replaceable alkaline batteries: the K950 Keyboard uses 2 AAA batteries (lasts up to 36 months). The M750 L Mouse uses 1 AA battery (lasts up to 24 months).

Question 6

Do the keys on the keyboard have backlighting?

Accepted Answer

No, the keyboard does not feature backlit keys. Omitting power-hungry LEDs is what allows the keyboard to run for a massive three years on a single set of AAA batteries.

Question 7

Is the typing experience quiet enough for an open office?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is exceptionally quiet. The keyboard utilizes low-profile chiclet scissor-switches designed to mimic a laptop keyboard while significantly dampening clatter. Likewise, the M750 mouse features SilentTouch technology, which reduces clicking sounds by over 90% compared to a traditional mouse.

Question 8

Does the combo support older Logitech Unifying USB receivers?

Accepted Answer

No. Neither the keyboard nor the mouse will pair with the legacy, orange-starred Unifying receivers. They are built on Logitech's newer, enterprise-grade security architecture and require either Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or the included Logi Bolt USB receiver (marked with a green bolt icon).

Question 9

Can you adjust the typing angle or tilt of the keyboard?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The K950 keyboard features extendable tilt legs on the bottom of the casing. Flipping these legs out changes the slope from its flat default layout to a comfortable +8-degree typing angle, allowing you to customize the desk ergonomics to your preference.

Question 10

What does the extra top button on the included M750 mouse do?

Accepted Answer

By default, the small physical button located just below the scroll wheel acts as a DPI toggle, letting you instantly switch between different cursor tracking speeds (from 400 to 4000 DPI). However, through the Logi Options+ software, you can map it to become a "Gesture Button" (holding it down while moving the mouse triggers navigation shortcuts) or assign it to launch specific apps or system actions.
