Why should I use Logi Options+ over Logi Options?

Logi Options+ receives regular updates, new features, and a growing list of compatible Logitech devices and apps. It is recommended over Logi Options, which no longer receives updates.

How to upgrade from Logi Options to Logi Options+

  1. Open the Logi Options app.
  2. Select the device(s) whose settings you want to use with Logi Options+, and click ‘More’.
  3. In the left-hand column, click ‘BACKUPS’.
  4. Click ‘CREATE A BACKUP NOW’. To back up all of your devices, check the ‘Automatically create backups of settings for all devices’ box.
  5. Download Logi Options+ for Mac or Windows on the Logi Options+ Download Page and follow the on-screen prompts.
  6. When prompted in the Logi Options+ app, log in with your Logitech account details.
  7. Once logged in, you’ll see a message confirming you have successfully migrated your device settings from Logi Options to Logi Options+.

How to set up and use Smart Actions with Logi Options+

  1. Open Logi Options+ on your Mac or PC.
  2. Click ’SMART ACTIONS’ in the top-right corner.
  3. Select a ready-made Smart Actions option that you might find useful.
  4. To set the Smart Action trigger, under the ‘IF…’ section, select ‘Device’.
  5. Choose a device you want to map with this Smart Action.
  6. Select which device input (for example, the ‘Back’ button) you want to trigger the Smart Action.
  7. Select ‘CONFIRM’ to complete the setup of this Smart Action.

How to create and customize your own Smart Actions

  1. Open Logi Options+ on your Mac or PC.
  2. Click ’SMART ACTIONS’ in the top-right corner.
  3. On the ‘Smart Actions’ page, click ‘CREATE’ in the top-right corner.
  4. Begin by creating a Smart Action trigger in the ‘If…’ section
  5. In the ‘Then…’ section, select which app and action you want to trigger.
  6. Press ‘SAVE’ in the bottom-right corner, add a name and/or description, and press ‘SAVE’.

How to import or export Smart Actions

  1. To export Smart Actions, navigate to the Smart Actions page in the Logi Options+ app, click the three dots in the top-right corner of a Smart Action, and select ‘Export’.
  2. To import Smart Actions, click “IMPORT” in the top-right corner of the Smart Actions page.
